I really don't know. fashion tends to repeat itself, so I think leggings are going to die out this year, and make a comeback again with mini-skirts in 20 years. skinny jeans will probably also die out, and be replaced with bell-bottoms again. I remember when I wouldn't wear a single pair of jeans unless they were flared. Now I won't wear a single pair of jeans unless they're straight-leg.
There's only one thing I know for sure: no matter how old I get, I'm never going to let my fashion sense go. I see so many middle aged women come into Borders with kids and they just look Sporty Spice on a bad day. I'm always going to make an attempt to look good, no matter how old, tired, or miserable I get.
I feel like all of the characters in Chuck Palahniuk's books are exactly the same. I don't know if it's the kind of language he uses, but I always picture the male protagonists exactly the same in my head, even if he describes their physical qualities. I always picture them with dark hair, scruff, and just generally boring looking. I think it's because all of his characters are ultimately exactly the same. They all have this insane hubris: sex addict, transvestite, schizo.. I feel like even his female characters are exactly the same. Always really into sex, mysterious, fucked up in one way or another, weird name... I couldn't even finish reading Lullaby because it was essentially the same exact plot as Invisible Monsters. some fucked up people travel around the country doing fucked up things. the male is always distant, uninterested, and uh fucked up until he meets this dynamic, equally fucked up woman who changes his life, usually for the worse. I don't know, so far I've read Invisible Monsters, Choke, and Fight Club and I loved them all. I've attempted and failed to read Diary (3 times), Lullaby, Snuff, and Haunted, which I just didn't like. now I'm reading Survivor, which I'm enjoying a lot.. The ones I have read have been enjoyable reads, but idk I just feel like they all have the exact same basis.
I just went for a jog, but my ipod died.
